MEMPHIS, TN - (June 13, 2009) - The Children's Museum of Memphis is open its regular business hours today - 9am-5pm. The museum has power and luckily sustained no damage. The museum is the perfect place for parents seeking a cool place to take their children and forget about yesterday's storm.
"The museum is a refuge for people that have no power," said Richard C. Hackett, CMOM chief executive officer. "Many families have no air conditioning, so we're the perfect place to bring children to escape the heat."
